It may not seem like it, but Riesling is a rare wine to come from Austria. The grape only makes up 2.6% of the total grape production in the Country. It is not easy to grow in Austria and only the best winemakers can make this noble grape produce world class wines. Winzer Krems, with their expertise in Austrian winemaking stretching back to 1447, has continually produced a high quality Riesling when a majority of other winemakers couldn't get their grapes off the vines!

Showing very typical riesling aromas of peaches and apricot and a multi-layered body of fresh fruit, fine acidity and a mouthwatering finish, the 2006 Riesling from Winzer Krems is a very elegant wine that will pair well with smoked salmon or seafood riscotto and will age gracefully for 3-4 years.
