2008 Eszesvin Kekfrankos, Blaufrankisch, Kunsagi

This fruity Hungarian red is made with the Blaufrankisch ( Gamay) grape from the Kunsagi region of Hungary. The wine has gone through a later harvest allowing the grapes to ripen more on the vine before picking. This will produce a rich, sweeter wine with luscious deep black cherries, clove flavors. This wine will go very well with spicy foods such as Hungarian Goulash or hearty similar stews.
